From the Kloten Airport:
Taxi: this would cost you around CHF 70.
Public transport: tram 10 (direction: Bahnhofstrasse/HB) takes you from the airport directly to the front of the ETH main building (HG in the map above) in Rämistrasse at the stop ETH/Universitätsspital. From there, it is a few minutes walk to the ETZ building. The ticket costs around CHF 8 (valid for 1 hour) and you can buy it from one of the ZVV ticket machines right outside the airport.
From Zurich main station:
Taxi: this would cost you around CHF 25.
Public transport: from the train station walk to Central and take either tram 6 (direction: Zoo) or tram 10 (direction: Zürich Flughafen) and take the stop Voltastrasse from tram 6 or ETH/Universitätsspital from tram 10. The ETZ building is right in front of the Voltastrasse stop and from the ETH/Universitätsspital stop, it is a few minutes walk to the ETZ building. The short-distance ticket costs around CHF 3 (valid for 30 minutes) and you can buy it from one of the ZVV ticket machines at Central.
Walking: ETZ and other central ETH buildings are on top of a little hill. It takes you around 15 minutes to climb up from the main station.
